The highlight of the action-packed round will be the top-of-the-table showdown in Awendo as league leaders Migori Youth host third-placed Mombasa United in what promises to be a fierce and potentially season-defining clash.

Migori Youth enter the contest wounded after a 3-1 defeat to Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA), their second loss of the season and the fourth time they have dropped points.

The slip denied them a golden opportunity to widen the gap at the summit of the 20-team league standings, leaving coach Sammy Otulo demanding an instant reaction from his charges.

Backed by Mozzart Bet and boasting an unbeaten home record, Migori will rely on their strong performances at Awendo Green Stadium to steady their ship and return to winning ways against United.

Victory would propel them to 29 points, opening a commanding seven-point lead at the top.

Mombasa United arrive in Awendo buoyed by a morale-boosting 2-1 victory over FC Talanta, a result that revived their promotion push after consecutive losses to MOFA and Nairobi City Stars.

With 22 points, coach Gilbert Selebwa knows a win will cut Migori’s lead to just one point, heating up the championship race.

But despite their impressive home performances, Mombasa’s away form remains a major concern.

They have yet to register an away win this season, managing only a four-goal thriller draw against Nzoia United while falling to MOFA, City Stars, Kisumu All Stars, and 3K FC.

Yet history leans in their favour, Mombasa United defeated Migori home and away last season, winning 1-0 in Migori and 4-1 in Mbaraki.

They will hope to extend that dominance, while Migori will be desperate to end the trend.

Kisumu All Stars vs Naivas FC

At Moi Stadium, Kisumu All Stars will be hoping the arrival of experienced tactician Duncan Otieno sparks a revival in their turbulent campaign.

The struggling Lakeside outfit sit deep in relegation danger after a damaging 2-0 loss to Kabati Youth, their seventh defeat of the season.

Naivas FC, however, will be equally desperate.

The Retailers have endured a rough three-week spell without a win, watching their promotion aspirations fade.

With pressure mounting, coach Elvis Ayani will be eager to halt the slide and reignite their charge.

Historically, Naivas hold a slight edge with four wins to Kisumu’s three from their last eight meetings, a sign that fans should expect a tightly contested and physical encounter.

Nairobi City Stars vs Equity Bank FC

At Vapour Grounds, former FKF Premier League side Nairobi City Stars continue their push to return to the top flight.

The Salim Babu-led side are enjoying a four-match unbeaten streak and are determined to extend it against a resilient Equity FC.

City Stars, sitting 12th on 15 points, will view this fixture as a must-win to cut their deficit and revive their promotion ambitions.

But Equity FC arrive in strong form of their own.

The newcomers, placed 10th on 18 points with two games in hand, are fresh from a morale-lifting 2–1 win over 3K FC.

Coach John "Kamara" Mbezwa will be pushing his side to hit the 20-point mark and move within five points of Migori Youth, a remarkable achievement for debutants.

Nzoia Sugar vs Kabati Youth

At Sudi Stadium, hosts Nzoia Sugar aim to extend their impressive four-match unbeaten run when they take on battling newcomers Kabati Youth.

Nzoia, placed 8th with 17 points, have been gradually rebuilding since their demotion from the FKF Premier League in 2023.

Coach Charles Odero will see this fixture as an opportunity to push closer to the promotion conversation.

Kabati Youth, meanwhile, come into the match energised after a crucial 2-0 victory over Kisumu All Stars, a win that lifted them off the foot of the table to 17th with 10 points.

The Haji Bilali-led side will be eager to build on that momentum and move further away from the danger zone.

Mwatate United vs Fortune Sacco

Bottom-placed Mwatate United welcome Fortune Sacco to Wundanyi Stadium in a clash of opposing missions.

Mwatate, under coach Evans Mafuta, are desperate to halt a four-match losing streak and spark a survival fight.

Fortune Sacco, on the other hand, sit 5th on 18 points after their narrow 1-0 win over Soy United, and will be targeting another victory to climb into the top four and strengthen their promotion campaign.

All fixtures will kick off at 3:00 PM.
