Kajiado have had a good start to the 2023-24 National Super League campaign winning all the opening matches, a performance that places them second on the NSL log.
Under the tutelage of Mohammed Hamisi, the team picked up three points against the restructuring Mulembe United, before thrashing MCF FC last weekend at home.
Going by the recent sequence in form, the club boss has warned opponents to expect a thorough annihilation when they face his side that he says, are destined for promotion at the end of the season.
He further notes that the good start to the season is not a fluke, and attributes it to the good preparations the club had before the start of the season; among them traversing the entire Maa region in search of talent through recruitment drive and a number of high profile friendlies that Kajiado took part in.
"The management invested heavily in this team to see it a success. Among the fruits of the recruitment drive we had is this team that is now competing with the bigwigs of the league. We are confident of more good performance as the season progresses," he stated.
Osman is however aware of the huge task that awaits them as he acknowledges the technicality of the super League and its unpredictability, therefore urging his charges to be at their par best to keep competing week in week out.
"NSL is one of the toughest leagues in the country in which any team needs to post results every match day to rank among the best," he added.
The young football administrator also noted that making Iladamat a 'slaughterhouse' to the visiting teams will increase their chances of gracing the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
"The trick is to try and win all our home matches, make the home ground tough for any visiting team and we have a chance to play top flight football," he concluded.
A win for the businessmen powered club on Saturday will move them at the helm of the league since Nairobi United won't be in action as match day three commences.
