The iconic stadium is not yet fully renovated, but it was so nice to see Lamine Yamal and his teammates dancing at the legendary ground

Barcelona returned home at last! The renovation of the Camp Nou is still far from complete. Still, after 909 days of exile, the gates finally opened under reduced capacity - and the players responded with pure, explosive emotion!

Hansi Flick's team stormed back onto their turf with a ruthless 4-0 demolition of Athletic Bilbao, a night that felt less like a league match and more like a celebration of Barca's rebirth.

At the heart of it all stood Ferran Torres, the man of the hour, the man of the season. His brace didn't only seal the victory - it elevated him to Barcelona's top scorer of the campaign with nine goals. It officially made him the most prolific Spanish footballer of 2025 in club competitions. Twenty-two goals this year, more than Lamine Yamal (18) and Mikel Oyarzabal (17). The number of a leader, the responsibility of a star.

Barcelona's night began with the perfect spark: Robert Lewandowski. Just four minutes in, with a flash of instinct, the Pole buried the opener, his second straight match with goals after returning from injury. A hat-trick in Vigo, another decisive strike here - the machine is heating up again, and it's only a matter of time before Lewa sits atop Barca's scoring chart once more.

But what will excite Flick far more than individual numbers is the chemistry developing in his new attacking trident. Lewandowski-Ferran-Yamal. A trio that feels fast, fluid, unstoppable. A trio that moves like it's been rehearsed for years, not weeks.

And then there was Lamine Yamal, the brightest spark on a night full of fireworks. The 17-year-old danced across the pitch, slicing through Bilbao's lines as if they were made of paper. Electric, joyful, unstoppable - and decisive. His two brilliant assists bookended Ferran's brace: first with a delicate outside-of-the-boot pass at the end of the first half, then with a jaw-dropping 90th-minute run in which he glided past helpless defenders before laying the ball on a plate for Torres.

The stadium isn't finished. The concrete still echoes, the seats are still missing.

But Barca are home again - and they played like they never left.
