Nuno Espirito Santo and his West Ham are going through a calvary. Leeds United handed them their third EPL loss in a row (2-1)
Nuno Espirito Santo looked dejected standing by the touchline at Elland Road last night as West Ham United recorded their third consecutive Premier League loss.
Leeds United secured a crucial 2-1 home win against the Hammers, who are not just flirting with relegation at this point, but are almost already in the second tier after only nine games.
Bizarrely, their one and only EPL victory was the one against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground back in August (3-0), when the Tricky Trees were led by none other than - Nuno Espirito Santo.

Since his arrival following the sacking of Graham Potter, the Hammers have won a single point (a 1-1 draw at Everton), and things look quite awful for the Londoners.
The trip to Leeds only reassured us that Nuno's side has many unsolved issues, especially in the offence. At the same time, the fact that they conceded against Leeds within the opening three minutes shows that vulnerability is widespread throughout the team.
Brenden Aaronson's clever touch after a commotion in the box put the hosts 1-0 up, before Joe Rondon doubled the lead around the 15th-minute mark. From then on, it was clear that the Hammers were struggling heavily to bounce back. Although Lucas Paqueta scored before the break, the goal was voided due to a narrow offside.

The visitors pegged one back through Mateus Fernandes in the final minutes of the game, but it was too late for a miraculous comeback, and the hosts ended their three-game winless series.
