Julian Brandt, 26, of Borussia Dortmund, is the next transfer target of both Arsenal and Tottenham
Borussia Dortmund defeated RB Leipzig on Friday night 2-1 in the opening match of the current Bundesliga round, thus reaching the top of the log for at least a few hours. BVB are three points clear of their archrival Bayern Munich and are probably the only other side capable of dethroning the Bavarians after their decade-long dominance in the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund have won their first 10 games in 2023 and sit top of the Bundesliga.

Besides Jude Bellingham, who has been widely praised for his outstanding performances, the team's display depends mainly on the splendid displays of Julian Brandt. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder has chipped in with nine goals and five assists in 30 games in all competitions this season.

According to Bild, this accomplishment has attracted the attention of both North London greats, Arsenal and Tottenham, which are eager to ink him in the next transfer window.
Brandt will see his contract expire in the summer of 2024, which could force the German club into making a decision at the end of the season or risk losing him for nothing the following year.
It has also been stated that Brandt would like to move to the Premier League - in particular to a London club - as one of his closest friends Kai Havertz at Chelsea has told him about life in the English capital.
Club director Sebastian Kehl has admitted he has been blown away by Brandt's performance and is keen for him to stay at the Signal Iduna Park.
He said: "We see Julian’s development every day. He has taken a giant step forward - and we are very happy about that.
"I am, of course, familiar with the contract situation and we are approaching the subject very positively and calmly."
