The midfielder joins the club on a two-year deal.

Kenyan international Amos Nondi will unite with compatriot Alwyn Tera after completing the switch to Armenian outfit Ararat-Armenia from Georgian club Dila Gori on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old joined the two-time Armenian champions on the Bosman rule after running down his contract with his former club back in December 2022.

Interestingly Nondi and Tera both played in the Georgian top tier with the latter turning out for 2018 league champions Saburtalo before making the move back in July 2021.

Nondi is expected to bolster Ararat’s midfield as they aim to capture the title that eluded them last season after finishing second, four points off champions Urartu.

The former Gor Mahia midfielder has enhanced his reputation since making his debut for Harambee Stars in 2021 against Uganda.

His departure from Georgia will leave no Kenyans in the top tier league for the first time in recent years with John Macharia and Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma also starting out in the league.

Ararat will begin their season on Friday 24 February with a derby clash against Ararat Yerevan.
