Nondi collects victory in Georgia after clocking 90 minutes

Kenyan international Amos Nondi lasted the entire 90 minutes as his Dila Gori side picked up a 2-1 win over Torpedo Kutaisi in the Georgian National League.

The versatile midfielder slotted in at center back for Dila as he has been used in a number of roles including his natural defensive midfield position and right back.

Dila posted a bright start to the game and took just 11 minutes to break the deadlock through Tornike Kapanadze after Thierry Gale put the ball on a plate for him.

With the wind in their sails, Dila continued to press their foot on the gas pedal as they doubled the lead in the 22nd minute through that man again Kapanadze.

Kutaisi however pulled one back two minutes later through Giorgi Arabidze to put an end to their tough start to the game as they gave themselves a fighting chance.

Things went from bad to worse for Dila after conceding as they were reduced to 10 men when Danylo Kanevtsev was sent for an early shower in the 25th minute.

Kutaisi made wholesome changes in the 65th minute, bringing on four substitutes at a go but the changes had little effect on the game.

Dila however managed to hold on to the slender lead despite being a man down to claim three vital points.
