Three rounds remain to the conclusion of the regular league. The top three teams in each zone proceed to the playoffs.

Wadadia FC are back to second place in the Women Premier League (WPL) zone B log thanks to goals from Monica Nyakowa and Kesiah Ikhungu which helped the team edge Oserian 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts opened the scoring in the third minute through Nyakowa and the visitors responded with an equaliser in the 11th minute through Magret Omweri.

Knowing what was at stake, Wadadia fought hard for a goal but the visitors were stubborn, holding on for 90 minutes. The match looked likely to end in a stalemate but Ikhungu broke the visitor's defence in the 92nd minute for the winner. Her goal restored her side to second place, relegating Nakuru West Queens, who had occupied the second place overnight, to third place.

Another zone B side, Trans Nzoia who are fighting to get back to a playoff position were the better side against newbies SEP Ladies, thrashing them 5-0. Violet Wanyonyi's hattrick and a goal each for Martha Karani and Tumaini Waliaula handed the Kitale-based side the win.

Zone B leaders Vihiga Queens picked maximum points without breaking a sweat as their hosts Eldoret Falcons, who have already been relegated, were a no-show handing the holders the walkover.

In the only match of Zone A, Gaspo Women had Elizabeth Wambui, Diana Wacera and Teresia Malevi to thank for their 3-1 win over Kibera Soccer Ladies to cement their third place. Laventine Mihemo scored the consolation for Kibera.
