No Camp Nou anymore: Barca in exile continue their La Liga journey against Cadiz

The Blaugrana will play the home games at the other venue for the entire season

Camp Nou is under a thorough renovation, so Barcelona will play all of their home games this season at the Olympic Stadium. At the premiere on Sunday afternoon, Barca are facing Cadiz. Nothing other than a landslide victory is expected, albeit the opening round did not go very well for the Blaugrana. Cadiz, on the other hand, celebrated the victory.

A goalless draw against Getafe was disappointing for the defending champions, and Xavi Hernandez certainly could not be satisfied.

This year, the visitors want to avoid the relegation battle and get off to a good start. Last season, Cadiz started the campaign with five defeats in a row, including a 4-0 battering by Barca.

However, two years ago, the yellows shocked Barcelona and triumphed at Camp Nou.

Xavi's side will be missing defender Ronald Araujo as well as Inigo Martinez in the defensive line. Raphinha was sent off against Getafe, which means he'll also miss the Sunday tie.
