The first encounter of the two-legged encounter takes place on October 1, 2022, with the return leg coming exactly three weeks later.

Kenyan international Brian 'Niang' Mandela and his side Mamelodi Sundowns will face off with Orlando Pirates in the semis of the MTN8 Cup following a draw conducted on Monday evening.

The former Tusker FC defender lasted the entire 90 minutes as his Mamelodi Sundowns side booked a place in the last four on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Supersport United courtesy of goals from Marcelo Ivan Allende Bravo and Abubeker Nasir.

Masandawana will be seeking to defend the title they won last year and add their tally to five.

Their opponents in the semis, Orlando Pirates, will have their eyes on reclaiming the title they last won in 2020, and take their total tally of the same to 11.

In the other semi, Kaizer Chiefs take on Amazulu in search of the other ticket for the final.

Kaizer Chiefs have won the cup a record 15 times, their last one being in 2014 and they will be out to the eight-year hiatus while Amazulu aims to win their maiden title in the competition.
