Zanaco return to action on Saturday with yet another away league match against Trident.

Onyango on the bench

In England, Harambee Stars prospect Tyler Onyango was an unused substitute as his club Everton came from a goal down to beat Doncaster Rovers 2-1 and secure passage to the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Joe Samuel Ironside stunned the Toffees when he gave Rovers the lead in the 44th minute and the visitors had to wait until the 73rd minute when new signing Beto drew them level with a fine finish after being put through on goal by Amadou Onana.

Another new signing Arnaut Danjuma then settled the game with an 88th minute goal.

Everton boss Sean Dyche was full of praise for Beto at full time.

"Beto coming on, he is raw and has been effective. I think it is an important factor of what he can do, he will develop on the way we play," he said in his post-match interview.

“He has been around a while at Udinese. We have told him to go and enjoy it and to go and use his instincts we know he can run and head it. We know he can play on his own we have seen that in the second half.”

He further admitted that the win was far from a comfortable one.

“Very tough game, but every game is tough, I think their goal is offside but I am yet to see it. We changed a few things at half-time and reminded them they are Premier League players".
