Stima boss promises new shirt sponsor next season
Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF PL) side Western Stima will have a new shirt sponsor next year club chairman Laban Jobita has assured.
Stima have been surviving from hand to mouth from the time their former sponsor, The Kenya Power and Lighting company locked its financial assistance.
The giant power company formally severed ties with the trio of Western Stima, Nairobi Stima and Coast Stima in June last year leaving the outfits which initially boasted of deep pockets struggling.

Jobita revealed that his hunt for a new sponsor had began bearing fruit after receiving a positive response from one of the corporate company which he declined to disclose.
"I am optimistic that we will have a new shirt sponsor next year. From the time Stima switched off, we have been knocking doors and there is some light at the end of the tunnel," he said.
The former player also exuded confidence that the club will survive relegation despite placing second from bottom with twelve points.
Jobita noted that the changes rung in the technical bench and the playing unit was bearing fruit as the Kisumu based club had not lost its last four matches.

The former Kisumu Hotstars player said the players were not only working their socks off to avoid casting the talent-rich region in bad light but to save their faces too.
" We were performing dismally but after making ringing changes in the playing unit and the technical bench, we can see some changes. The team is slowly gathering steam and within a short time, it will be out of the red zone. There is no way Stima will drop to the second tier, " he added
Stima travel to face Kakamega Homeboyz in their next match on Saturday.
