The Reds outplay Crystal Palace in Singapore to clinch their first pre-season win (2-0)

That nasty 4-0 defeat to Man Utd has been quickly forgotten among the Reds as Liverpool dominated the Friday friendly against Crystal Palace and won 2-0.

Just like in their two Premier League ties in the recently-ended season, the Scousers enjoyed a fruitful game.

The starting XI was again a mixture of the experienced once and those youngsters and newcomers who are battling for their space in Jurgen Klopp's outfit.

Henderson opened the scoring with 80 minutes left on the clock. It was a three-piece action, with Milner and Elliott providing the captain with a rather fine firing position to put his side in front.

On the other end, Patrick Vieira's players simply couldn't find their way through the opposite defence. Elliot was close to doubling the lead near the half-time break, but it stayed 1-0 on the scoreboard.

What he missed, Salah, of course, simply couldn't. The African magician came in after the break and instantly made a mess on the right flank before shooting with his left to kill the game early in the second half.
