'New Messi' set to leave Nou Camp for good

Apparently, there is a club who will pay 70 million euros for the Barca youngster

Not so long ago, he was hailed as the new star and proclaimed as the legitimate successor of Lionel Messi. And then, the status of Ansu Fati (20) changed by 180 degrees. He has changed to such an extent that the club decided to sell him at any price because Xavi informed the management that he does not see him in his plans for the 2023/24 season. Fati has been playing very little. Lately, his performance has been very poor in the last six months (one league goal, zero assists), and all this is compounded by his father's frequent appearances in the media (threats to take his son away from the club), which obviously nobody cares about. Barcelona didn't like it.

The epilogue of this story is the transfer list and the promise of the player’s agent that he will bring an offer of 70,000,000 euros during the summer. And Fati’s agent is the almighty Jorge Mendes. That's reportedly the figure Barca would accept for Ansu Fati, but the real question is whether it's really possible to find a club that will shell out that much money for a 20-year-old who hasn't played a single big game in his career, nor has he proven himself to be reliable, considering that he spent more than 500 days outside the field due to injuries in the last three years. Catalan Sport writes that Mendes even specified that the offer would be from England... In previous months, Tottenham, Manchester United and Bayern Munich were most often mentioned as interested parties.
