Napoli coach on a short leash after a few bad results

Everyone is against Rudy Garcia, only Aurelio de Laurentiis supports him. Since the Frenchman took the reins, Napoli does not seem anywhere near as attractive and powerful as last year when they won Serie A after more than three decades of waiting. On top of all that, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, their arguably most important player is nowhere near proper form, and their best striker Victor Osimhen hasn’t scored in four games, and he also opposed the coach after he subbed him in a Bologna stalemate last week.

That's why Rudy Garcia is now at a turning point and he has an ultimatum before him to improve the game and the results in the next four games, which will be followed by the October break due to national team obligations. If there is something favorable in the schedule, it is the fact that Napoli plays three games at the "Diego Armando Maradona" stadium: with Udinese and Fiorentina in Serie A and in the Champions League with Real Madrid, while they are visiting Lecce. It is clear that De Laurentiis will evaluate the team’s form in all these matches, especially in the elite competition when Carlo Ancelotti, the former Napoli’s coach will return to the south of Italy. Then De Laurentiis "supported" him, and sent a similar message to Garcia the other evening:

Many interpret these words of De Laurentiis as a hint of the replacement of Rudy Garcia, and if that happens, the replacement is already waiting.
