The Argentine will not be able to help his team in the Champions League or in Serie A due to his injury
Inter will be heavily weakened in the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona, as their star player Lautaro Martinez will miss the match due to injury.
"Lautaro Martinez has undergone various clinical and instrumental tests. It was determined that the Argentine forward has a muscle strain in his left thigh. His condition will be monitored by the medical staff," the club announced.

According to Italian media, recovery from this type of injury typically takes about seven days, making it unlikely that Martinez will be fit for the return leg against Barcelona on Tuesday in Milan.
The first leg in Barcelona ended in a 3-3 draw. In the best-case scenario for Inter, Lautaro could be available for the bench.
Inter's coach, Simone Inzaghi, did not sound optimistic about Martinez’s chances of recovering in time for the match against Barcelona.
"He felt pain but had played eight consecutive matches. Unfortunately, we've had a few problems, as I didn't have Thuram, and Taremi was also recovering from injury. When you start eight matches in a row, there's a risk of injury. I hope it's nothing serious, but I have some doubts," Inzaghi said.
Martinez will definitely miss tonight's Serie A match against Verona in the 35th round.

Inter will host Verona in today’s Serie A match, a game they must win, while simultaneously hoping Lecce can manage to take some points off Napoli. It’s clear that Inter is facing numerous challenges in a short period.
The injury of their best player, the gap behind Napoli, and the upcoming Champions League semifinal against Barcelona all pose significant hurdles. We'll have to wait and see how they handle this intense stretch.
