Muyoti vouches for Osano to get Harambee Stars call up

The custodian has kept 13 clean sheets in the 26 matches he has played in his Premier league debut season
Nairobi City Stars tactician Nicholas Muyoti opines that his custodian Jacob Osano has earned a call up to the National team Harambee Stars following his display this season.
Osano has been brilliant for Simba Wa Nairobi in his maiden season in the top flight, managing to keep 13 clean sheets with four matches left to play to the end of the season, with only Tusker's Patrick Matasi coming ahead of him on the list with 16.

Since making his debut in the Football Kenya Federation premier League in the second game of the season for City Stars, he has not looked back and has made the number one spot his, and now Muyoti believes he is ripe for a place in the national team.
“It is very encouraging from Osano. He has been very consistent and so far he has made some very important saves. He deserves a call up to the National Team,” Muyoti is quoted saying on the club's portal.

The towering goalkeeper went the entire season last campaign without featuring in the league as Steve Njung'e played in all matches, his only prior appearance for Nairobi City Stars coming once in the National Super League in the season they got promoted.
The former Nairobi Stima, now defunct, custodian has featured in 26 matches for City Stars this season, meaning that he has stopped opponents from finding the back of the net in half of those matches.
