The winner of the annual tournament will win one million shillings
Home favourites Munami FC held their nerves in post match penalty shootouts as they edged Shianda All Stars 4-2 to book their place in the finals of the fourth edition of the Cleo Malala Super Cup.
With the game failing to produce any goals in regulation time, both teams' fate was left in their own hands as the match headed straight into the deciding spot kicks.
Egged on by the huge crowd at the Mumias Sports Complex, Munami scored four out of five of their penalties as Shianda All Stars missed two key strikes that ended up costing them a place to fight for the title and prize money in the tournament that is also sponsored by lead gaming firm Mozzart Bet.

Following the victory, Munami booked two time champions Cleo Malala Super Cup champions Arsenal Lirhembe in the finals of the tournament.
Lirhembe had in the first match dispatched Kona Rangers 1-0 in a tightly fought encounter where former Sofapaka FC and Nzoia Sugar star Moven Otinya scored the goal that sent them through.
While Lirhembe will be feeling confident of winning the annual tournament for a record extending third time out of the four editions so far played, Munami will be looking to utilize the fanbase to grab their first silverware and claim the one million championship prize.
Having come close yet so far, Rangers and Shianda All Stars will face each other in the 3/4th place playoff.
