Inter Miami offered the chance to reunite Neymar with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez

In the mid-2010s, they were the terror of world football — and more than eight years after their breakup, they could soon be reunited. Lionel MessiLuis Suarez Neymar together again? It’s possible — and could happen in just a few months.

According to the Daily Mail, Inter Miami has been offered the chance to bring back one of the most lethal trios in football history — a trio that defined an era at Barcelona. More than a decade ago, MSN was more than just a nickname; it was a symbol of dominance, unity, and football poetry.

Week after week, Messi, Suarez, and Neymar dazzled the world — until the Brazilian left for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017. Now, a little over eight years later, the same man who broke the trio apart could bring it back together.

Messi and Suarez have shared a locker room again since January 2024, and all that’s missing is Neymar — who could soon join them. The Brazilian terminated his contract with Al Hilal at the start of the year and signed for Santos.

Initially, he signed a short six-month deal, later extending it for another half-season to finish the campaign at the club where he began his career — meaning he’ll be free to negotiate with other teams in December.

One of those teams is Inter Miami. While talks are yet to begin, Neymar’s representatives see plenty of benefits — both on and off the pitch — in a potential move to the United States, especially in the World Cup year.

“Reuniting with Messi and Suarez would be incredible! They’re my friends, and we’re still in touch. It would be great to revive that trio. I’m happy at Al Hilal, but you never know what tomorrow brings in football…” Neymar said earlier this year, back when he still wore the Saudi club’s shirt.

And indeed — as he said himself — you never know what tomorrow brings in football. About twenty days after that statement, Neymar terminated his contract with Al Hilal and returned to Brazil. In just a few months, he could genuinely be playing alongside Messi and Suarez again — the same trio that brought Barcelona the treble in 2015.

Inter Miami is set for major changes in the near future. Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have already announced their retirement at the end of the season, with Sergio Reguilon expected to replace Alba at left-back. At the same time, the American club is working on new contracts for Messi and Suarez, who will lead the team into the upcoming playoffs.
