Odhiambo joins from FC Talanta, a side that was relegated at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Posta Rangers have made significant changes to their squad ahead of the 2025/26 FKF Premier League season, releasing five players and bringing in two new signings.
The Postal Corporation of Kenya-backed side made the announcement on their official Facebook page, outlining their intention to rebuild after a challenging season.
The five players released include midfielder Patilah Omotto, who has since rejoined Kariobangi Sharks; forward Henry Juma (formerly of Bidco United); defender Eric Juma (ex-Kenya Police); Amos Asembeka (formerly with the now-defunct Wazito FC); and attacking midfielder Meshack Muyonga, who previously featured for Kakamega Homeboyz.
These changes come just weeks after Rangers narrowly avoided relegation, edging Naivas FC 2-1 on aggregate in a tense promotion/relegation playoff after largely lingering just above the dreaded drop.
To strengthen the squad, Rangers have signed experienced defender Bernard Odhiambo, who led Bandari FC to the Mozzart Bet Cup title in 2019.
Odhiambo joins from FC Talanta, a side that was relegated at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Also returning to the club is Elvis Osok, who re-signs after a season with Shabana FC.
“As we begin our pre-season training on Monday, August 4, 2025, the club has parted ways with five players whose contracts have come to an end. We’re also pleased to welcome Bernard Odhiambo and Elvis Osok to bolster the team’s competitiveness,” the club stated.
Rangers will be hoping to rediscover the form they showed during the 2023/24 season when they were early pacesetters in the league.
At one point, the team topped the 18-team FKF-PL standings before financial difficulties derailed their campaign, eventually finishing ninth.
