FKF Premier League side Tusker has confirmed the sensational return of their former striker Eric Kapaito for an undisclosed period.
Kapaito, a two-time FKF Premier League Golden Boot winner, played for the Brewers in the 2023-2024 season, and rejoins the team following a stint with Tanzanian club Namungo.

The move was confirmed by the club on Friday, 25 July, making the former Kariobangi Sharks forward Tusker's third signing of the off-season transfer window.
“Eric brings a lot to this team: goals, leadership, and a winning mentality," Tusker head coach Charles Okere said of his new player.
"He knows our system, and his experience will be vital both on and off the pitch. Last season, we struggled a bit in the second leg because we didn’t have enough firepower upfront, and his return gives us that cushion."
Kapaito, who was the 2021 Kenya Premier League Most Valuable Player (MVP), scored 12 goals during his one season at Tusker, helping Robert Matano's side finish a close second in the league.
The striker had, prior to linking up with Tusker, severed ties with Ethiopian side Arba Minch, and termed his move to the Brewers as an easy decision.
Speaking during his unveiling at Ruaraka Grounds once again, Kapaito said: "Tusker FC is home, and I feel that I have returned to a place where I felt comfortable, happy and loved.
I have a deep connection with this club and the fans, and I’m hungry to help bring more trophies to this great team. I’m back, focused, and ready to give my all."
His return is likely to be celebrated, given how last season ended.
Okere's Tusker, after looking prime to contend for a 13th Premier League title, fell by the wayside after their striker Ryan Ogam suffered a nasty knee injury, and struggled to score goals.
Only young striker David Polepole looked ready to take over the mantle, but his inexperience, plus injury, meant the output was not enough.
On the back of a purge, Kapaito will bring his experience to the side, which has so far promoted youth players, and on Thursday, 24 July completed the signing of utility defender Eugene Ikutwa.
Midfielder Vincent Otieno also joined the Ruaraka-based side from Nairobi City Stars.
