The Nerazzurri win the battle of Stadio Olimpico
Inter Milan made a big stride towards UEFA Champions League qualification - at Roma's expense! The Nerazzuri scored a goal in each half to defeat Jose Mourinho's team and overtake rivals Milan in Serie A standings.
Federico Dimarco and Romelu Lukaku scored in their team's 2-0 win against the powerless Giallorossi, who continue to struggle in seventh place. It now looks like their only passage into Europe's elite competition would be winning the Europa League, the competition in which they reached the last four.

The team from the capital started with star men Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham on the bench, but even their introduction in the second period did little to turn the tide for Mourinho.
Simone Inzaghi's team had a chance to increase the lead and humiliate the Romans, but Lautaro hit the post with three minutes remaining.
