Stamford Bridge Blues are aggressive in their intent to bring in Achraf Hakimi; London club is ready for a swap + money deal
Hakim Ziyech was brought to Chelsea from Ajax in 2020 and already has a Champions League medal with his new club - huge achievement.
However, his role in Thomas Tuchel's plans is a supporting one, he rarely starts and he might be leaving Stamford Bridge.
But, if Chelsea finalize the signing of Ziyech's compartiot it might change the situation and create a North African connection.
Moroccan wing back Achraf Hakimi presented hiimself as a perfect player for Thomas Tuchel's 3-4-3 system and even though the German already has great wing back options in the form of Reece James and Ben Chilwell - Hakimi is a wanted man at the Bridge.
Chelsea boss Tuchel wants to make some significant changes to the team in an attempt to challenge on all fronts next season, regardless of a joyous end to the 2020/21 campaign, finishing fourth in the Premier League and clinching their second ever Champions League trophy after defeating Manchester City in last month's final.
Reportedly, the Blues have offered money and a player in order to bring in Inter Milan wingback Hakimi.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea have offered Inter 60 million USD (6.5 billion KSH) plus Emerson Palmieri for Hakimi - Roman Abramovich's side would be willing to add another player into the deal and Davide Zappacosta, Mateo Kovacic and Tammy Abraham impose as main options.
With the Blues being in the market for a right-wing-back and a midfielder, they are also hunting for a striker.
Two biggest targets in that area are Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku.
Ex-Chelsea player Lukaku has already committed his future to Inter so the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Hakimi could leave the San Siro in order for the Italians to clear some debts.
Both Zappacosta and Kovacic have both spent time in Italy already with the latter previously spending time at the Nerazzurri before moving to Real Madrid in 2015.
Hakimi joined the Italian side just a year ago but Inter's financial issues mean they may be forced to sell some of their best players.
As far as the Norwegian young star Haaland goes, reports are suggesting that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with the Norwegian striker.
"Personal terms for Haaland are signed off, its just a case of Chelsea agreeing a fee with Dortmund.", journalist Ian McGarry said while speaking to The Transfer Window podcast.
