The mentioned Serbian menace scored the opener from perfect set pieces to silence the red part of Old Trafford a few minutes into the second half. The same player launched an excellent header some ten minutes later, but David de Gea managed to grab a last-gasp save and save his side from a shocking elimination.

And then, suddenly, Willian's handball on the goal line was sanctioned with the penalty and a red card for Fulham's winger, which enraged Mitro. He made prohibited physical contact with the ref and was rightfully sent off too.

Bruno Fernandes equalized from the spot, and just as we were expecting to see the match going into extra time, United struck again, almost instantly. Marcel Sabitzer made a charming backheel touch in the six-yard box less than two minutes after Bruno's goal to turn the entire game the other way around.
