Just half an hour after scoring a banger against the Gunners, Patrick Dorgu was forced off the pitch with an injury, which isn't as naive as initially believed
The arrival of Michael Carrick - or the departure of Ruben Amorim - seriously turned the tables for Manchester United, as the Red Devils made two gigantic upsets, beating the Premier League leading duo, Manchester City and Arsenal, in back-to-back games.
Those triumphs moved them to fourth position, which secures Champions League participation at the end of the season, so the reasons for joy at Old Trafford are numerous.
However, there's always a pebble in the shoe, that little thing that causes problems and annoys. Only, in United's case, their issue is not that minor.
Namely, half an hour after scoring a screamer against Arsenal, Patrick Dorgu was forced off the pitch with an injury. At first, Carrick hoped it was just a cramp, but soon, the awful news came - the Dane will miss 10 weeks due to a serious hamstring injury!
Just when everything starts to click for him and then he's out injured for about 10 weeks. Really heartbreaking.

That means he won't be able to help his teammates in the next eight EPL rounds (against Fulham, Tottenham, West Ham, Everton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Bournemouth), and his appearance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup European playoffs for Denmark is also at risk.
This setback came in the worst possible moment for both United and Dorgu, as the 21-year-old seemed to have reached the peak of his form at Old Trafford, scoring three goals and providing one assist during the past 30 days.
Now, the Red Devils will have to get by without him.
