Sharks attacking midfielder opens up of his ambitions after signing new deal
The urge to win the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title enticed Julius Masaba to extend his stay at Kariobangi Sharks. The attacking midfielder renewed his stay at the club on Thursday after signing a new three-year contract extension.
Masaba who joined the former Shield Cup holders in 2019 from National Super League outfit Kibera Black Stars said the chose to extend his allegiance with the club to help them win their maiden league title.

Sharks who were promoted to the top flight in 2017 among the scores of clubs challenging for to break Gor Mahia’s dominance in the league.
Before the competition was halted in March by a presidential decree, the William Muluya coached side was perched fourth with 28 points, five shy of league leaders Tusker.
“I want to help the club win the league and even reclaim the cup which they won back in 2018. The clear has a clear structure to fight for titles going forward which makes a player wish to be part of it,” he said.
Masaba who had netted two goals in the past rounds also opened up of his ambition to hit double digits as well as enrich his assists.

He said he was eyeing at least twelve more goals and aid Erick Kapaito win the golden boot through his assists. Kapaito has fourteen goals against his name from fifteen rounds.
“Before the season began, I had set an individual target of getting at least fourteen league goals. I already have two and now that I am settled, I will focus on bagging the rest. I also want to help Kapaito win the league,” he stated.
With his teammates boasting of having a number of Harambee Stars caps and appearances under their belts, the towering player expressed his desire to emulate them in the near future.
