Umar Sadiq is about to join Getafe on loan after previous two below-par stints with Almeria and Real Sociedad in the last two seasons
It has been quite a bumpy ride for Umar Sadiq in Spain in the last two years, but his luck is maybe about to change.
According to several Spanish media, Getafe are more than interested in getting the 27-year-old big Nigerian striker on loan from Real Sociedad.
Madrid-based La Liga side need a sort of replacement for their injured star Borja Mayoral, who'll be absent for another six months due to an injury.

They see a soulution in Sadiq, and it seems that Sociedad are also interested in the deal since the tall attacker didn't justify the status of the most expensive investment of the Anoeta club in history, as he was paid €20m to Almeria back in September 2022.
Last season he scored just three goals in 26 games, as he was sidelined for around seven months after undergoing surgery for a ligament injury.
