Lizbeth Ovalle of Tigres launches a sensational inverted scorpion that is a proper contender for the Puskas Award
Who says that women's football isn't as exciting as men's? Just check out what Lizbeth Ovalle of Tigres did last night to score in a 2-0 victory over Chivas in the 2025 Liga MX Women Clausura.
The 25-year-old midfielder stunned everyone with her jaw-dropping 'inverted scorpion' to score from a Jennifer Hermoso cross. She flicked the ball over the goalkeeper with her left heel while hanging in mid-air with her back toward the goal.
This must be a contender for the Puskas Award, the year's most beautiful goal.
