Parc des Princes was very loud today

For the first time in over 11 years, Paris Saint-Germain held a training session entirely open for the public at their Parc des Princes. With the huge Le Classique game at Olympique de Marseille to come on Sunday, around 32,000 Parisian fans filled the stands of their home stadium and produced a memorable atmosphere to inspire their team.

Club members were allowed to come in for free, while the others had to pay for tickets to watch Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and the other stars prepare for a potential title-deciding game.

The fans were repaid for their noisy support by a lap of honour, in which the team saluted the supporters' effort to fill the stands despite no match being played. Head coach Christophe Galtier was present after he skipped the previous day's training with sickness.

Renato Sanches and Neymar were the only absentees – the latter is set to miss several weeks due to an ankle injury and will not play a part in the Champions League last 16 second leg against Bayern Munich. Mukiele's session was cut short as he continued his treatment for a hamstring injury.

The fans unfurled a big banner with the words "Have no mercy for them". "Them", of course, being OM. This derby will be pure madness.
