They wished Jurgen Klopp and his players all the luck in tomorrow's showdown against Real Madrid in the replica of the 2018 UCL final. Besides much-needed luck, they ought to play on the highest possible level in order to top Spanish giants. To do so, the Scousers must win the battle in the middle, and one of the key factors in this mission will definitely be Thiago Alcantara.
The Spanish international of Brazilian origins, however, suffered a muscle injury during their latest Premier League tie against Wolverhampton Wonderers. Klopp reacted promptly, taking him out to prevent any further damage, but it wasn't clear if he would be fit enough for the clash against the Royals.
Or it wasn't until Friday afternoon. Then Alcantara was seen smiling at Stade de France in Paris during the training at the venue of tomorrow's final.
"The mood is very good. We're very excited about being here," said Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
"We're getting a feeling for the stadium and the location. It looks good for both Thiago and Fabinho. Fabinho has trained normally, Thiago trained with the team yesterday and will train today [Friday] and then we'll go from there."

Klopp is not happy that organisers laid a new pitch at the Stade de France.
"Somebody thought it would be a good idea to bring a new pitch the day before the game," he said.
"Not the best news, but we will do a normal session as planned."
