A strong season on loan in Paris sparked a lot of interest in Moise Kean – including the club that sold him less than two years ago
Sometimes football feels like a giant merry-go-round. Players leave their clubs looking for more playing time, more ambitious teams or simply for more cash, only to wind up where they started.
Moise Kean exploded onto the scene at Juventus as a 16-year-old and instantly drew attention. An Italian-born son of Ivorian parents, Moise was picked up from city rivals Torino when he was only 10. His talent was evident.
After a season-long loan with Hellas Verona and only a single entire season as a Juventus first-teamer, Keane was somewhat unexpectedly sold to Everton for $30.25million in August 2019. After an uninspiring first season at Goodison Park, Keane was picked up on loan by Paris Saint-Germain. They were desperate for some attacking options following the departures of Edinson Cavani and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
Moise hit 16 goals so far this season, prompting everyone to focus on the athletic striker again. Now PSG want to make his loan permanent, while there is also interest from Italy. Two clubs are interested, Inter and, you've guessed it – Juventus.

Everton would also like to give him another chance to prove himself in the Premier League. Still, manager Carlo Ancelotti may be tempted with possible swap deals that would involve some of the players he's been admiring since his days at the helm of Napoli.
Juventus need more firepower with Alvaro Morata proving inconsistent for the Bianconeri. Sergio Aguero, Arkadiusz Milik and Mauro Icardi have all been mentioned in the press as potential Juve targets, but no official confirmation has arrived from the club just yet.
In the meantime, Inter manager Antonio Conte would like to offer Matias Vecino, the out-of-favour 29-year-old Uruguay midfielder, as a part of the deal to capture Kean from Everton. Carlo Ancelotti attempted to sign the Uruguayan a few years ago while in charge of Napoli. Perhaps he'll get his man at last?
Will he go back to Everton or to Juventus? (©AFP)When asked about his future, the 20-year-old refused to talk about the next season, choosing to remain focused on the tasks ahead – fighting off LOSC Lille's challenge in Ligue 1 and challenging for the Champions League.
"I don't know anything, and it doesn't matter right now. We've beaten Bayern in the Champions League, and we've got more work to do. All my attention and energy is dedicated to Paris Saint-Germain."
Moise Kean seems to be in a great position. He's young, he's scoring goals and will have a host of big clubs to choose from as his next destination. The merry-go-round won't be stopping any time soon.
