Andri Gudjohnsen, the son of former Chelsea forward Eidur, made his presence felt at Parc des Princes last night in what could have been a sensational draw
In 1996, Eidur Gudjohnsen debuted for Iceland, coming on as a substitute for his dad, Arnor, thus kickstarting his two-decade-long successful international career, embellished with 88 appearances.
The former Chelsea and Barcelona forward has three sons, all football players. His middle son, Andri, made the headlines last night after an amazing display against France at Parc des Princes.

The 23-year-old striker netted twice, almost stunning the World Cup runners-up on their soil. We say almost, because his second goal - which could have secured a sensational draw against Les Bleus in the game's dying minutes - was disallowed after a VAR review.
First, Gudjohnsen broke the deadlock around the 20th minute mark, but Kylian Mbappe from the spot in first-half stoppage time and Bradley Barcola after the restart pushed the match in France's direction.
The robust striker kept looking for the equaliser, and it paid off for him two minutes before the added time, but it was eventually voided as the replay showed Gudjohnsen fouled the rival's defender while creating space for himself in the box.
A little anecdote: former La Fábrica players Andri Gudjohnsen (2002) and Dani Gudjohnsen (2006) — brothers and sons of Eidur Gudjohnsen — are both starting up front for Iceland against France tonight, and Andri has even got himself on the scoresheet. pic.twitter.com/Gq7VW4gDXo

Interestingly, Gudjohnsen, who plays for Blackburn Rovers, was raised in the youth academies of Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. He even spent an entire season with Real Madrid B, making 19 appearances and scoring four goals before moving to Norrkoping. So far, has played 36 times for his senior national side, and if he continues this way, there's a good chance he will surpass his much-famous dad.
