The famous basketball star is one of the investors behind the Rossoneri buyer
AC Milan have got a new owner, US businessman Garry Cardinale, who bought it from the Elliot Fund (also American) for a total figure of around 1.2 billion euros.
However, Cardinale is doing it with a support of a long list of private investors and funds who participate in purchasing the Italian champions .
One of them is none other than NBA star LeBron James, who has become a regular in sports investing.

Will that affect the club itself, and in which way? Well, basically, the essence remains the same: Paolo Maldini and his associates will continue to lead the sports area, so no change is expected.
As 'Financial Times' explains, the new owners will announce the entry when the transaction's closing for the purchase of the Italian club should occur.\
