Peace has been made in the name of Inter. After all, prolonging the bad vibes didn't make sense because of the past. On the day of the official announcement of his signing, Inter fans had gathered outside the club's headquarters to protest against Cuadrado's acquisition. By the end of the evening, a compromise had been reached: to organize a meeting between the parties to lay all the cards on the table and clear the air.
And, after the jeers in the first two home matches of the season, Cuadrado will have his chant and the support of the Inter fans from the Milan derby onward, just like all his other teammates. The credit goes to captain Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine was a part of the conversations with the fans. He was the crucial link in the chain that reduced the tensions and brought the relationship to a human level.
All that's left for the veteran Colombian is to prepare for the Derby della Madonnina. Perform well against rivals AC Milan, and there will be no limit to Inter's fans' affection.
