The Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri could soon replace Fenerbahce's jersey with Everton's, as the Toffees consider him a proper solution for their offensive struggles

Youssef En-Nesyri is living dream days. Last night, he reached the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final with the Morocco national team, scoring, by the way, the decisive penalty in the shoot-out against Nigeria, and just hours later, he was officially identified as Everton's transfer target.

According to The Guardian, the Toffees view the Fenerbahce striker as an ideal solution to their offensive struggles and are willing to pursue him. The same source mentioned the potential loan deal with a €20 million purchase option.

David Moyes' crew has experienced serious efficiency issues this season and has the seventh least productive attack in the Premier League. To make matters worse, their only two centre-forwards, Beto and Thierno Barry, combined for only five league goals. The fact that the pair of midfielders, Iliman Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, are the team's top scorers speaks volumes.

On the other hand, En-Nesyri delivered practically everywhere he played, from the Spanish sides Atletico Malagueno, Malaga, Leganes, and Sevilla, to Fenerbahce. This season, he netted eight times in 25 appearances, but found the net seven times in 15 league games.

And that's what Everton need - a player who can start tormenting rivals' defences from the moment he arrives. Still, the move to the strongest league in the world would also represent a massive challenge for the 28-year-old. The biggest in his career. He'd undoubtedly need some time to adapt, but the sooner he finds his scoring form, the better.

If he joined Everton, En-Nesyri would join his compatriot and Atlas Lions teammate, Adam Aznou, who arrived at Hill Dickinson Stadium last July from Bayern Munich and is one of the club's biggest prospects.
