The ex-Cityzen is sad for not seeing the English star alongside Erling Haaland

Former Manchester City player Sergio Aguero regrets that Jude Bellingham signed for Real Madrid and not for the Etihad slot, The Mirror reports.

The Argentine forward considers the Englishman one of the best in the world. Therefore, he's disappointed that Jude is flourishing at the Bernabeu.

"Jude Bellingham is on his way to being one of the best in the world. Look what he is doing with England," said Kun Aguero, emphasizing the adaptation of the former Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder to a country and to a language that is not his.

Since signing for the Royals, Jude Bellingham has scored 11 goals and added three assists, participating in 14 of the 27 goals that Real Madrid has scored along the way.

Aguero also highlighted the precocity of Bellingham:

"Even when he was a young player, the pressure of playing for such a big team did not affect him. That is worthy of praise. You can even see him do great things for the national team. If he maintains this level consistently, he can be among the best without a doubt," he commented.

Guardiola's team was the main obstacle that Madrid had to overcome to get Bellingham. The Cityzens were close to signing him, but...

"It's a shame that Pep Guardiola couldn't convince him to join Haaland at Manchester City," concluded the former Argentine striker.
