Depay's wonder goal opens the scoring, but Alaves level the game from the first shot on target (1-1)
Something is deeply rotten in the capital of Catalan province.
Ronald Koeman is no longer in the Barcelona dugout, but the Blaugrana outfit are in a horrible condition which reflects on their on-the-pitch performances.
Alaves are the last on the list of teams that go home from Camp Nou with a point in their pockets despite trailing to Spanish giants. After a mediocre first half with minimal action on both ends, Barca broke the deadlock early in the second half through Memphis Depay. Catalans gave one last push to bring back the lead but failed big time with the game tied at one. Depay was the closest one to score, but instead of his winner and a brace, the crossbar saved Alaves.
Moreover, Barca lost their striker Kun Aguero who had to be taken to hospital after a collision with the opponent 30 minutes into the game. His condition is still unknown, and it is believed he suffered a chest injury.
