
Kenyan midfielder elated after facing Wanyama in MLS

Kenyan midfielder Handwalla Bwana came up against Harambee Stars skipper Victor Wanyama as Nashville comeback to secure a 2-2 draw against Club de Foot Montréal.
This was the first time that Bwana came up against Wanyama despite the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder joining Montréal back in March 2020.

Bwana took to social media to express his delight after playing against Wanyama as he switched his shirt with Wanyama.
The 21-year-old also seemed to reignite debate about his nationality after posting an image of the Kenyan flag following reports of being torn between represent Somalia and Kenya.
Mason Toye opened the scoring for Montreal in the 13th minute while Brault-Guillard doubled the Canadian side's lead three minutes from half time.
Nashville came back a much rejuvenated side in the second half and mounted a strong comeback through Lionel Cadiz in the 54th minute. Hany Mukhtar stole a point for Nashville in the 13th minute to secure the second successive 2-2 draw for Nashville.
