The defender has thanked his club and wished them well.
Kenyan defender David Sesay has parted ways with English League Two club Crawley Town after the expiry of his contract.
Born in London to a Kenyan mother and Sierra Leone father, Sesay came through the Watford academy before joining Crawley Town in 2018. He went on to make 70 appearances for the club.
In 2019, he called up to the preliminary AFCON squad but he failed to honor the Harambee Stars summon as his team was battling relegation then. He has never been summoned again. At the end of 2018/19 season he was named young player of the year by the club.

The right-back has now taken to social media to announce his departure from Crawley Town. He thanked the club and the supporters.
“Unfortunately my time at the club has come to an end. I want to start off by saying a big thank you to all my teammates, coaches, and all the staff throughout my time here but (also) a massive thank you to all the fans! You've embraced me as one of your own from the start and for that, I'm truly grateful. It's only been three years but (it) feels like a lifetime with all the ups and downs we've been through together,” read part of his post.
"Crawley Town has become part of me now and I'll always be a lifelong fan and (I will) keep checking up on you. I came here as a teenager and (am) now leaving as an adult and having the opportunity to put on that red shirt was more than a privilege. I wish nothing but success for the future until we meet again,” he concluded.
It is not yet clear where the fullback is headed to.
