Kenya U20 coach Salim Babu expressed satisfaction with his team's performance, stating they are in good shape ahead of their trip to Malawi on Thursday.

"We decided to field two different teams in each half to avoid overloading the players, and in both halves, they performed well. We're prepared for the tournament in Malawi and aim to win. With the team at my disposal, I believe we'll perform admirably," he affirmed.

Babu was equally full of praise for the Talanta Hela U19 team, noting their numerous standout players.

"This is a good team. They have several players who caused us many problems, and if they weren't heading to Spain, we might have considered drafting some for our U20 team," he said.

"Both teams have very talented players, and with more talents emerging, I think the future of this nation's young talents is in safe hands. We will have a large pool to select players from in the future."
