At the end of the second round, the seven winners will secure qualification to the CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations
Kenya will learn their fate on Wednesday, 7 January, when the draw for the 2026 CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers is conducted in Rabat, Morocco, marking the start of the qualification journey to Africa’s premier men’s futsal tournament.

The draw will be streamed live on CAF TV from 3 PM EAT as 17 nations battle for seven available slots at the final tournament, alongside hosts and defending champions Morocco.
Kenya are among the six lowest-ranked teams and will take part in the First Round of the qualifiers. The others are Cameroon, Cape Verde, South Sudan, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
These six teams will be drawn in pairs to form three home and away knockout ties, with the aggregate winners advancing to the Second Round.
The team drawn first in each pairing will host the first leg, while the second drawn side will host the return leg.
Should Kenya progress, they will join 11 teams already exempted from the first round. These are Algeria, Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Libya, Ghana, Guinea, Mauritania, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia.
Based on FIFA Futsal Men’s World Rankings, Egypt, Libya and Angola are the highest-ranked sides and will be drawn to face the first-round winners, hosting the second leg of their respective ties.
The remaining second round fixtures will be determined by a draw between two pots. Côte d’Ivoire, Mozambique, Zambia and Algeria form the higher-ranked pot, while Ghana, Guinea, Mauritania and Tanzania make up the other pot, with higher-ranked teams hosting the second leg.

All qualification matches will be played over two legs, home and away, with aggregate scores deciding who advances.
At the end of the second round, the seven winners will secure qualification to the 2026 CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations final tournament, joining Morocco at the continental showpiece.
