Their super run has left Mwangi confident of nailing down one of the two automatic promotion slots at the end of the campaign.
The soft-spoken tactician who credits their form to the solid organization in the team ruled out slumping into comfort zone any time soon and called on his troops to oil their guns ready for the promotion battle.
“The team is firing from all cylinders as a result of good organization in all departments. With this kind of cohesion, it is safe to say we will be gunning to join the big boys in the senior league at the end of the season. We have in the past began well but got overwhelmed in the second round but this time, we are not dropping our guard until the mission is complete,” he said.
Besides attributing their good run to the sound organization, Mwangi partially attributed it to the experienced players in the squad.
The trainer enjoys the luxury of selecting veteran players on match days whom he thanked for taking responsibility on the pitch and guiding the young ones.
Former Harambee Stars midfielder Kevin 'Ade' Omondi, John 'Softie' Ndirangu and Samuel Ndung'u are some of the long-serving players currently attached to the team.

“The presence of senior players in the team makes my job easier. They win you matches through their experience and help the younger players on the pitch,” he added
