KDB's last game at Etihad may be a farewell match of one more Cityzen

Tonight against Bournemouth, the Belgian will play his ultimate clash at the stadium where he spent ten years - but he may not be the only one

Man City's game against Bournemouth (22.00) in the penultimate Premier League round will be important for the Cityzens for several reasons.

On the one hand, in terms of results, Pep Guardiola's men face a must-win challenge in their pursuit of the Champions League. On the other hand, tonight's clash will be emotionally essential, as the club's legend Kevin De Bruyne will play his last match at Etihad Stadium.

However, the Belgian may not be the only one to say goodbye to the Manchester crowd. The duel against the Cherries may be the last home game for Jack Grealish as well.

The midfielder brought for £100 million from Aston Villa four years ago has been subpar for some time, and the time to say his farewells may have come. This season, Grealish scored only three goals in 31 appearances and had a goalless spell lasting 473 days!

Still, Guardiola neither confirmed nor denied the rumours about the Englishman's departure, claiming the decision will depend on the outgoing director of football, Txiki Begiristain and his successor Hugo Viana.

"We didn't talk, I didn't talk with him. People don't believe me, but these things belong to the agents and the club and Txiki, and in this case Hugo as well. Both will decide," the tactician said via Sky Sports.

Interestingly, many wondered why Grealish didn't get a chance in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace, even though the Cityzens were 1-0 down. For the legendary English striker Alan Shearer, his compatriot's situation at Etihad is clear.

"His time is up at Man City, he has to leave. For him (Guardiola) to bring a debutant on, a young boy (Claudio Echeverri) and Gundogan on when they're desperate for a goal rather than Jack Grealish... his time is up, he's done at Man City, he has to leave. For whatever reason, Pep's done with him, he doesn't like him, his time is up it really is," Shearer stated, as per Daily Mail.
