Burly forwad will be sidelined for two months
Despite KCB losing Enoch Agwanda ahead of the resumption of the league, assistant coach Godfrey Oduor maintains that the rest of the forwards are equal to the task.
According to Oduor, Agwanda went under the knife last week after suffering a knee injury which will keep him on the sidelines for at least two months.
The burly forward has had a season to forget thus far due to the recurring injuries which have seen him make few league appearances.
In December last year, the former Sony Sugar captain was ruled out for six weeks thanks to a knee injury picked earlier in a league match.

Oduor who doubles up as Harambee Starlets assistant coach admitted that the absence of Agwanda would be felt but tipped the fit goal poachers to fit in his shoes.
"He will be out for at least two months after undergoing surgery. We will miss him but for the time he will be out will give an opportunity to the other players to prove something," said the former Kibera Black Stars coach.
With Agwanda ruled out, coach Zedekiah Otieno will look up to to the trio of Derrick Otanga, Ian Mutanda and Antonio Abwao for goals with the industrous flankers chipping in.

Meanwhile, Oduor insists that KCB are firmly in the race to claim their first league title despite the long break occasioned by a presidential decree.
The bankers who have a match at hand sit second on the log with 29 points four shy of league leaders Tusker who lost three points following the expulsion of Zoo FC from the competition.
"The target remains to win the league. Whether we have injuries in the squad or a unwanted break, we have not lost focus," added the former Nzoia Sugar boss.
