Kariobangi Sharks survival chances got more complicated after settling for a 1-1 draw with Kenya Police FC in an FKF Premier League match played at the Police Sacco Stadium On Wednesday.
Sharks went into the match in need of three points as they are placed position 16 with 34 points.

Police on the other hand were fourth on 53 points and were keen to find rhythm ahead of next month's Mozzart Bet Cup final against Tusker.
The match started at a rather slow tempo with both teams appearing to be cautious not to concede early.
The host threatened to take the lead in the 12th minute but Erick Zakayo was not clinical enough to finish the chance.
Sharks, on the other hand, struggled to have their usual fluid, quick passes with their key player, Humphrey Aroko under tight marking from Brian Musa.
Sharks had loud calls for a penalty ignored by referee, Philip Brook, who waved play on after David Majak went down in the 20th minute after a tussle with Abud Omar.
Sharks had their first attempt in the 29th minute, when Timothy Ekhavi, on the overlap, took a shot from range but it was way off target.
Kevin Ouma would become the first player to go into the referee's book for a foul on Aroko.
The biggest chance of the half fell to Samuel Quansah, who failed to score from close range after Hernest Malonga picked him with a good pass.
Second Half
In a bid to strengthen their attack, Police introduced Ali Awesu and Brian Chonjo for Quansah and Zakayo.
Police’s effort would then pay off in the 69th minute when Awesu took an excellent corner kick that Collins Omondi punched into his own net.
Sharks pushed for an equalizer themselves and got their reward in the 79th minute through veteran midfielder Patillah Omoto who connected well to a corner to restore parity.
With the result, Sharks hopes for survival are now slim as they remain 16th with 35 points, three points behind Mathare United ahead of the last match.
Ulinzi Stars vs Tusker FC
Meanwhile, Ulinzi Stars got a major boost to their survival chances after beating Tusker 2-0 at Ulinzi Complex.
Ulinzi opened the scoring in the 55th minute through Bildad Abonga, who connected well to a Talena Ochieng free kick.
Paul Okoth added the second for the soldiers deep into stoppage time.
