Man Utd's Raphael Varane wants to stay in Europe until the end of the season. But Saudis have two strong cards up their sleeves
It starts with an impeccable striker like Karim Benzema. Then you need a midfielder of that level, so you buy N'golo Kante. And, finally, the missing part of the puzzle is a superb defender, of course.
So, with two French internationals already in the squad, Saudi Arabian Al-Ittihad turns to who other than their compatriot and Les Bleus teammate - Raphael Varane.

Albeit the experienced centre-back apparently wants to stay with Manchester United until the end of the season, the Saudis are determined to change his mind and sign him as soon as possible.
To do so, they asked for a bit of help from their two shinest stars, Kante and Benzema, who are on a mission to persuade the defender to join them at Al-Ittihad. They moved to the Saudi Pro League side earlier this year and are hoping that the Red Devils star will join them. Al-Ittihad's boss Nuno Espirito Santo is the one pushing to get the Frenchman or, alternatively, PSG's Marquinhos.
