The Old Lady offered more money than Milan to both players
Over the years, Juventus has strengthened its ranks by hiring top-class free agents. One of those moves was Andrea Pirlo from San Siro to Turin. Players such as Carlos Tevez, Dani Alves, Sami Khedira and Aaron Ramsey arrived at the club without compensation, and Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu could soon follow their path.
It has been known for some time that Juve wants the Italian goalkeeper in their ranks and that he has prepared a more generous offer than Milan for his services. Numerous media from the Apennines also reported that Rossoneri's negotiations with Donnarumma were suspended, as well as that an agreement had already been reached with the Lille keeper Mike Maignan, who should replace the Italian.
In addition to Donnarumma, Bianconeri would also like Hakan Calhanoglu, reports CalcioMercato. The Turk, like the young goalkeeper, has an expiring contract with Milan at the end of the season. Negotiations with the management have been going on for months, the former Bayer Leverkusen player has an offer of 4,000,000 euros per season on the table, but the two sides cannot agree.
CalcioMercato learns that Juve also prepared an offer for his services and that they are again willing to give more money than Rossoneri. While Donnarumma offered 2,000,000 more than Milan (10,000,000 euros), the Turkish national team player would earn 5,000,000 euros per season in Turin. Juve are very eager to sign the Turk, but the Champions League place will also be a factor.
Rossoneri have the upper hand at the moment, since they are third on the table with three points more than the Old Lady, who is fifth. There are two more rounds left until the end, and Juve will meet the newly crowned champions Inter and Bologna. Napoli (one point more than Juventus) and Atalanta (three points above) are also fighting for places in the elite competition, while theoretically Lazio is also in the game (five points below with a game less). It seems that the final round will determine who will fill the Champions League slots, and it will also be a turning point for Milan transfer plans.

In any case, Juve has drawn up a financially stronger contract for Calhanoglu, which is certainly an important factor, and it would not be surprising if other interested parties are involved in the upcoming period. Mino Raiola offered a potential solution to the Milan administration in case the Turk leaves.
If the Turkish midfielder leaves, Henrik Mkhitaryan could replace him. The 32-year-old midfielder’s contract with Roma expires at the end of the season, and lately it has been speculated that he does not want to stay at the club due to the arrival of Jose Mourinho, with whom he did not achieve the best cooperation during the period spent in Manchester United.
The Italian newspaper Il Tempo reports that Raiola offered the services of his client to the Rossoneri. The former Borussia Dortmund and United player played very good in Serie A this season, as he scored 11 goals and recorded the same number of assists in 32 appearances in Roma. Given that he would come as a free agent, it seems that he could be of use to Milan, especially if Juve "steals" Chalhanoglu.
