Despite conceding an early one, the Bianconeri scored two before the interval and three more in the second half to brush aside the visitors 6-1

Juventus have made it to the Coppa Italia quarter-finals after demolishing Salernitana 6-1 at home on Thursday night.

Massimiliano Allegri's side managed to bounce back after conceding a shocking opener only two minutes into the game and trash Pippo Inzaghi's team, which succumbed to despair.

Nigerian forward Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi made the most of an early gift from Juve's defender Gatti, putting it past the keeper for a surprising lead.

Unfortunately for the underdogs, the favourites' responded quickly through Miretti and from that moment on, the game took a whole different path.

Cambiaso made it 2-1 ten minutes before the break, and when the sides returned from the locker room, it was as one-sided as it gets.

Juventus were dominant, and their high-flying midfield and attack provided us with an offensive spectacle.

They managed to score four more, booking a 1/4 final ticket with a dozen in the back of Salernitana's net.

In the closing stages of the match, an impressive solo effort from Yildiz put Juventus 5-1 up, and just minutes later, Timothy Weah netted an incredible long shot to close out the match.

Massimiliano Allegri's side will now face Frosinone in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, and victory there would put them up against the victor of Lazio-Roma in the semi-finals.
