According to Brazilian media, Arsenal's forward could leave the Gunners in the upcoming transfer window and return to the homeland

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus could be set for a shocking exit in the upcoming January Transfer Window, Brazil's BolaVIP reports.

According to them, the Gunners are willing to accept an offer coming from his boyhood club, Palmerias, for the 27-year-old Brazilian striker.

Jesus signed for Arsenal in 2022 from Manchester City, but went down the pecking order especially due to injuries as Kai Havertz, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and even Raheem Sterling now emerged as Mikel Arteta's more preffered alternatives in the attack.

Palmeiras would have to pay around €40 million for the forward, who could be their most significant reinforcement ahead of the Club World Cup scheduled for next year.
