Former Real and Chelsea players gave his biggest hint about retirement so far...

When he signed for Real Madrid on July 1st 2019 for 115 million euros, Eden Hazard was among top three European midfielders, he just won the Europa League with Chelsea and the best was yet to come. Sadly, it was the beginning of the end. Fast forward to 2023, he ended his tenure with the Royal club one year before. He takes home his trophies: La Liga champion, Copa del Rey champion, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup, but he knows he didn’t do much to deserve them. Unlucky for him and Real, he was a failure (an expensive one) in Madrid and now, he is contemplating retirement.

Hazard never showed his full potential in Spain, mainly due to injury problems, but also for other reasons and Real is counting 115 million loss, while, while The Belgian international is still a free agent, three months after his last game with Real. The 'Believe' docu-series delves into the daily life of the Belgian team through several protagonists: Lukebakio, Johan Bakayoko, Amadou Onana, Jan Vertonghen and Eden Hazard himself. In one of the episodes which will soon hit the air, the player gave one more hint at retirement.

Little by little it is time to enjoy life with my family and friends. Drinking a few Jupiler beers” said Hazard.

So far, he is still living in Madrid with his family, his kid is involved with Real Madrid academy, and his world-famous barber, Ahmed AlsanawI recently said that his client rejected offers from six teams this summer as he assesses his options. Will he decide to retire soon at the age of 32, and start drinking those beers, or will he go to less quality leagues, like MLS or Qatar to play some more, we will find out soon.
